The first breast cancer stamp was the blue and orange one in 1997 and is on the envelope with a later stamp, whose date of issue I cannot find but since it shows a pink symbolic ribbon is probably the latest issue of all.

NURSES QUARTERLY Spring 1937, page 10, notation re: Mary Clymer Baines visiting the hospital to commemorate fifty years from her first entrance to HUP as a student nurse. Anna Brobson mentioned in same article. Both women from class of 1889. Clymer is the nurse in The Agnew Clinic painting by Thomas Eakin and a recipient of the Nightingale Medal. Brobson was the initiator and first president of the Graduate Nurses Association of Pennsylvania.

One metal thermometer case circa 1920-1945. One metal case (3.25" x 1.75") containing one metal syringe, an intradermal needle and three empty pill corked bottles. Bottles at one time contained morphine and codein tablets. These metal containers were generally carried by Visiting Nurses or physcians making house calls. Patent is from 1885 by Parke/Davis. One metal syringe by Lentz & Sons patented 1901. Five glass needle protectors one with needle. Circa 1900 - 1945.
