Overview and metadata sections
Frank Meter was born on October 18, 1883. He was a 1910 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine where he was a member of Psi Omega Dental Society, the E. C. Kirk Dental Society, and the Empire State Club. He practiced for at least part of his life in Northville, New York. He died on April 12, 1969 in River City, Florida.
The Frank Meter papers mostly contain material from the time Meter was a student at the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine as a member of the Class of 1910. There is a small amount of material created after he graduated. The papers consist of notebooks, photographs of his Dental School classmates and other unidentified people, two copies of The Penn Dental Journal, a 1910 Dental School yearbook, and two pamphlets from the Psi Omega Dental Society annual banquets in 1909 and 1910.
The Frank Meter papers are arranged alphabetically.
The Frank Meter papers were donated to the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine Library by Mrs. Mary M. Carter and transferred to the University Archives in 2005 (accession number 2005.149).
