Overview and metadata sections
These scrapbooks document the performance of the University of Pennsylvania's football team from 1940-1943. The color photographs on the inside cover of one of the scrapbooks depict a packed Franklin Field during a 1941 game.
This scrapbooks consist of newspaper clippings, color photographs, and a handwritten poem arranged chronologically.
The University of Pennsylvania Football Scrapbooks were a gift from Andrew Conger in June 2000 (accession number 2000:049).
