Overview and metadata sections
Archival note: From the late fifties to the early seventies, the University President's Office was in charge of the University Art Collection through the Art Committee (later renamed Fine Arts Committee). Donald K. Angell, Vice President--Assistant to the President, was on the Committee as a representative of the President's Office. From 1970 on, the Department of Fine Art took over most of the daily operation for business related to the art collection. Because of its earlier involvement, however, the files continued to be generated in the President's Office and are therefore classified under UPA 5.2.
