Joshua Jess Cabot (1950-1992) was a choreographer and dancer. Cabot taught at Stockton State College in Pomona, New Jersey, and was a Board member and vice president of publications of the American College Dance Festival Association. Cabot also performed with Dance Conduit.
This is a collection of the papers of Joshua Jess Cabot. Records include course materials, such as lecture notes, articles on writing and teaching, exams and quizzes, syllabi, course packs on various aspects of dance and performance; notes, costume and set designs, sheet music, sound recordings, poetry, and programs for dances choreographed and designed by Cabot; photographs of Cabot and other dancers; dance journals, including issues of the CORD publication "Dance Research Journal"; and a binder of photos and slides of choreography, costume designs, and sets for dance created by Cabot (1980-1990).
