Overview and metadata sections
The Pore Caitif was a Middle English late 14th and 15th century devotional text consisting of tracts about the Creed, the Ten Commandments, and the Paternoster, and intended for home use by the laity. An inscription on the last pages indicates that Dame Margaret Hasley, Sister in the Order of Minoresses, presented this work to another Sister.
