Overview and metadata sections
Leonard Guercio graduated from Temple University in 1983. In 1984, he was hired as coordinator of Temple's film lab and in 1988 as producer and director at the Office of TV Services. From 1990 to 1995 Guercio developed programming for Temple's cable TV channel 55 including the first airing of Temple's commencement in 1990. Guercio left Temple in 1995 only to return in 1988 as the film lab coordinator, a role he held until his retirement in June 2021.
This collection consists of born digital and digitized audiovisual recordings, photographs, newspaper articles, correspondence, advertisements, and other records related to Len Guercio's independent film, recording, and production work including his short film Tiramisu (2002) which depicts the Italian American community in South Philadelphia.
