Overview and metadata sections
This collection consists of born digital and digitized audiovisual recordings, photographs, articles, correspondence, advertisements, and other records related to work produced in partnership with Temple University's Digital Cinema Lab and Office of TV Services during Len Guercio's tenure as lab coordinator. Digitized films in the collection include the 1968 Annenberg Hall dedication and a circa 1955 interview with former Temple University president Robert Livingston Johnson. Programs produced for Temple's cable TV channel 55 include the 103rd Temple University commencement exercises; and episodes of two interview programs, Reminiscence and Author, author hosted by former Temple professor James Ambandos. Among the interviewees are Blockson collection founder Charles Blockson, architect Denise Scott Brown, and WRTI founder John Roberts. The collection also includes classroom footage of Ambandos teaching, photographs of Radio Film and Television staff and students in campus buildings, and School of Media and Communications celebrity alumni such as Dan Trachetenberg and Bob Saget. A "media catalog" written by Guercio accompanies the collection and also serves as an autobiographical sketch about the film lab coordinator's work at Temple.
