Overview and metadata sections

A memorandum book of a Florentine grain dealer. The entries are made in a variety of hands, possibly those of the buyers. Includes entries for payment for grain, rent, taxes, alms, and other income. This account book is characteristic of the type used when Palioli created his treatise on double entry bookkeeping. The book designates Biagio Dicino dalle Vanna as the official recorder of transactions.
