Overview and metadata sections

Photographs and negatives taken by Cathy Cockrell, who worked for the Liberation News Service from 1975 to 1978, for Liberation News Service stories. Photographs document working conditions, protests, Gay Pride celebrations, and other places and subjects primarily in New York City, with some photographs taken in Philadelphia, Washington, DC, and other cities.

This collection is arranged chronologically.
