The Great Central Fair, inspired by other sanitary fairs throughout the United States to raise funds for the United States Sanitary Commission, took place June 7-28, 1864, in Logan Circle (now Logan Square) in Philadelphia, Pa.
Collection contains 21 stereographs (double photographs of the same image taken from two slightly different perspectives), as well as several single photographs, of various exhibits and buildings of the Great Central Fair.
