Overview and metadata sections
The collection consists of approximately sixty posed individual and group portrait photographs, negatives, and copy prints of Theodore and Esther Green and their family members taken primarily by Philadelphia, New York, and Waterbury, Connecticut based photographers. The collection also includes an image of Green Bros. Pure Food Market and naturalization certificates for Esther and Theodore Green.
Donated by the Mollie G. Fischer in March 1986. Collection previously administered by the Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center, acquired by Temple in June 2009.
The bulk of the photographs in this collection have been digitized and are available online on the Temple University Digital Collections website.
