Albert J. Caplan graduated from Temple University in 1929 and received a Bachelor of Laws in 1933. He was a stockbroker, Dean of the Charles Morris Price School of Advertising and Journalism, and Philadelphia bibliophile. He was active in many Philadelphia area cultural organizations, including the Library Company, International Graphic Arts Association, and Union League.
Bound volume containing a typescript of For You and Other Poems by Albert Caplan. Also contains typescript of Manuscript Making in the Middle Ages, with pasted in illustrations, and proofs of The Bibliography of Walter Scott, both also by Caplan.
