Pages of an unbound scrapbook with color photos and captions of a trip to Soviet Union in 1984 by members of Temple Beth Hillel Beth El to visit Refuseniks, Soviet Jews denied permission to emigrate abroad by the authorities of the former Soviet Union and other countries of the Eastern bloc. Also included are portrait sketches of Refuseniks drawn by Libby Rudnick and a newspaper clipping from the Jerusalem Post about Soviet Jews.
Gift of Libby Rudnick, date unknown. Collection previously administered by the Philadelphia Jewish Archives Center, acquired by Temple in June 2009
