Harry W. Wilson was born on November 15, 1865. He lived in Philadelphia, was a rugby enthusiast, volunteered at a city mission, travelled in Pennsylvania and Maryland "selling bills, " and worked in a store. He both studies and taught classes at Temple College, listed as a student in 1888-89 and as a Tutor in History in 1889-90. He died on September 23, 1890.

This collection consists of three volumes of short entry daily diaries, dating 1888, 1889, and 1890. The diaries note Wilson's daily activities, church attendance, Temple lectures attended and taught, playing rugby, and mention Temple's founder, Russell H. Conwell, as well as other teachers and administrators. Also included are lists of income and expenses. Notes by family members after the last entry by Wilson describe his death.

The collection is arranged chronologically.
