Overview and metadata sections
This collection contains photographs of activities at many of the YWCA branches in Philadelphia including the North American Lace Co. branch. Also includes images depicting the preparation of braille books by the Volunteers Service for the Blind and portraits of famous women such as Princess Grace of Monaco, Coretta Scott King, and Marian Anderson. Photographs are mostly unidentified and undated, and from various branches of the YWCA within the Philadelphia area with a very few National Y materials.
The collection is arranged alphabetically. The number of photographs in each folder is indicated by the number in parentheses.
Donated by the YWCA on June 25, 1997.
