The Yorktown Community Organization was established in 1962 to serve a small section within North Philadelphia adjacent to the Temple University Campus. The community is bounded by Girard Avenue, Broad Street, Columbia Avenue and Eleventh Street.
The collection documents the programs and activities of the association, and contains administrative records, correspondence, financial records, minutes, clippings, architectural drawings, photographs, and other materials.
