This is a finding aid. It is a description of archival material held at the Fairmount Park Historic Resource Archives. Unless otherwise noted, the materials described below are physically available in their reading room, and not digitally available through the web.
Overview and metadata sections
This collection contains a variety of maps, plans and drawings relating to East and West Fairmount Park. Materials included in the collection are blueprints, bluelines, linens, mylars and paper. The collection contains diverse types of maps and plans, such as sewer plans, topographic plans, site plans, latitudinal and longitudinal plans, water main plans, street maps, and landscape plans. The collection is particularly strong in topographic plans, covering the entire region, and structural plans of the park's various components. Items included in this collection are dated from 1684 to 2012, and range from original survey plans of the park to modern restoration projects. All items included are in English.

Collection Inventory
Specifications for plan are located in drawer 5-3 under: Fairmount Park System, environmental education centers: Specifications for proposed designs for Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Strawberry Mansion, Wissahickon Creek and Tacony Creek Parks.
Item is extremely fragile, and has two significant tears which affect usability.
The plans appear to be related to a plumbing work bid for the city of Philadelphia, c. 1978. This bid and contract requirements can be found in Drawer 4-2 of the Reference Collection under : West Fairmount Park, Mann Music Center: History - structure.
