Overview and metadata sections

Meredith Fuller was born June 13, 1933. She was the daughter of Lawrence Jones Fuller and Nancy Naulty Fuller, both of Philadelphia.

Her family lived at 71 Bethlehem Pike (in Chestnut Hill, Philadelphia) from 1932-1934, then moved to 232 E. Meade St. in 1934, until 1941 when they moved to 7814 Cresheim Rd. In 1948 they moved from Chestnut Hill to a 78-acre farm on Audubon Road, near Audubon, Pennsylvania.

Meredith attended kindergarten and first grade at Miss Shipley's School, located on the second floor of the parish house of St. Martin-in-the-Fields church on Willow Grove Ave., Chestnut Hill. From second through twelfth grades she was a student at Springside School. The lower school was then located on the northwest corner of Seminole and Willow Grove Avenues. (now a residential co-op). The upper school, 7th-12th grades, was located on the northeast corner of Norwood and Chestnut Hill Avenues. (That school was torn down in the 1950s and doctors' offices were built on the site.) Meredith graduated from Springside in 1951 and graduated from Smith College in 1955.
