Founded in 1956 as The International Catalysis Society (ICC) the goal of North American Catalysis Society (NACS) is "to promote and encourage the growth and development of the science of catalysis and those scientific disciplines ancillary thereto."

This collection records the history of the society containing files from the year of the founding through the 1990s.
Organized into six series: I. Administrative (incl. Minutes of Board Meetings)-1963-1999; II. Financial (Treasurer's files)-1957-1993; III. Meetings (NACS National Meetings 1-16 & ICOC Meetings); IV. Awards V.Publications (Newsletters)-1967-1999; VI. Correspondence-1965-1998. Series
The collection comprises a selection of organizational records of NACS. This material was found in the collections and was left as found.
