Benjamin Max Margosches was born at Jassy in Romania in 1876. He studied at the Technische Hochschule in Vienna and upon graduation in 1906 was appointed to the Technische Hochschule at Brno. His field of interest was mineral oils fats and asphalt. In 1918 he was appointed to the chair of Chemical Technology. He became a recognized expect on asphalts and his students carried on his work publishing many papers dealing with idiometric methods of analysis. Max Margosches died at Brno on September 28, 1928.
The collection consists of ten bound dissertations all are typewritten and in German.
This collection consists of dissertations by students of Professor. Max Margosches and mostly deal with idiometric methods of analysis of fats and lipids.
