Overview and metadata sections

In 1933 Shinko Rayon Co., Ltd. was established as the first rayon staple fiber manufacturer in Japan. In 1942 it was merged into Nippon Chemical Industries, Ltd. In 1944 Nippon merged with Asahi Glass Co., Ltd. and the new firm became known as Mitsubishi Chemical Industries, Ltd. In 1950 under the post-war Authorized Reorganization Plan, the firm reverted to its original name. In 1952 following reorganization of the vast Mitsubishi holdings, it became Mitsubishi Rayon Co., Ltd.

This brochure is a corporate brochure introducing potential buyers to the line of Mitsubishi Rayon products. The brochure is fairly comprehensive and even includes samples of actual rayon fiber.
