Joseph W. Lynch served as President of the Science and Professional Personnel club during the period covered by these documents. A principal aim of the club was to find employment for these enlisted chemists after the war.

The collection consists of personnel directories, general information regarding club activities and correspondence relating to the club's job placement service. There is also a copy of Collier's, a popular general-audiences magazine published bi-weekly. This issue from November 27, 1953 contains on gas warfare as a terror-weapon.

This is a small collection of materials relating to the functions of a club formed for Enlisted Science and Professional Personnel at the Army Chemical Center [Fort Dietrich], MD during the period of the Korean War.
