This collection consists of one copy of Three Centuries of Irish Chemists by Deasmumhan Ó Raghallaigh, published by Cork University Press in 1941. The book's introduction explains that it was written and edited by participants of the Symposium on the History of Chemistry in Ireland on May 24th, 1940. The book includes a transcription of Reverend P.J. McLaughlin's opening remarks at the symposium. Then, the book provides brief biographies of Irish chemists, all generally arranged chronologically by birthyear. The book also contains portraits of several Irish chemists.
