Abstract:

Othmer Library Archives has a single issue of an American illustrated newspaper from the pre-Civil War Era. It measures 16x12 inches and contains 15 pages, number 81 through ninety six. The paper is dated Saturday February 11, 1854, Vol. VI, No. 6, Whole No. 136. Item kept by Haynes because in contains an article on the use of lead in water pipes.
