Brooke, Simpson & Spiller was a British dye manufacturer. The firm was the successor to William Perkin in the manufacture of dyes.
This is an 8 1/2 inch x 10 1/2 inch single sheet of dyeing instructions in English, French, and German. The instructions are for Brooke, Simpson & Spiller's line of Fast Blues dyes.
Fast Blues, Suitable for Dyeing Silk and Wool Without the Use of Spirit Instruction Circular was purchased by the Science History Institute (formerly the Chemical Heritage Foundation) in 2007.
