Collection consists of 54 loose letters in mylar sleeves. They are autographed letters by famous chemists on various subjects. The letters are a mix of personal and scientific correspondence. One letter from Joseph Fourier to John Dalton is in French and one from Justus Liebig to his nephew is in German. The remaining letters are in English.

Formerly in the Library of the Chemists Club, New York City.
