The Bethlehem Steel Corporation Print Advertisement describes the efforts made by Bethlehem Steel Corporation to reduce air pollution. The featured text states that the company has invested $120 million in pollution-control equipment. Two color photographs from the firm's Sparrow Point steel plant in Baltimore, Maryland depict the company's high-efficiency venturi scrubbers that recover more than 99% of fine fume-particles when compared to Basic Oxygen Furnaces. Two additional color photographs from Bethlehem's Los Angeles, California steel plant depict the "baghouse" dust collecting system that contributes to reducing smog by approximately 120 tons of dust on a weekly basis.
