Sir Isaac Newton (1643-1727) studied at Trinity College Cambridge. His wide-ranging interests embraced alchemy, religion, mathematics and optics.

These notes cover a period of approximately 100 years (1540-1640) relating to Newtwon's family history and genealogy.

This is an 18 x 22 inch framed piece. The frame is black metal with glass. The contents are a 3.5x5-inch engraved portrait of Sir Issac Newton and two small hand written pieces of paper one 2x5-inches and one 3.25x7-inches. These contain notes made by Newton of his family genealogy.
