Abstract:
This is a collection largely comprised of training materials prepared for various Perkin-Elmer made FT-IR analytical instruments.

Thomas J. Porro was a longtime employee of Perkin-Elmer working in the Sales Division which apparently had the responsibility for training new purchasers in the use of the equipment.

Although the collection bears Mr. Porro's name, there is very little in it actually by him. Rather this is a compendium of useful materials that Porro collected to aid him in his work.
