The New York Section was the founding section of what would become the American Chemical Society. The inaugural meeting was held at the College of Pharmacy of the City of New York on April 6, 1876.

Bound into 6 ledgers: 1. 1892-1899; 2.1899-1906; 3.1930-1935 4.1935-1942; 5.1906-1916; 6.1916-1929.

These are minutes of meetings from the New York Section of the American Chemical Society. They are fairly comprehensive meeting notes. The 1906-1916 volume is largely handwritten, while the 1916-1929 volume is mostly typed.
