Overview and metadata sections
West Chester Monthly Meeting was established in 1956 by Concord Quarterly Meeting out of West Chester Preparative Meeting (Hicksite) at the dissolution of Birmingham Monthly Meeting, the former Hicksite meeting. In 1964, West Chester Monthly Meeting merged with Birmingham Monthly Meeting at West Chester, the former Orthodox meeting. West Chester is currently an active monthly meeting.
Records include: minutes, 1956-1969 and a mix of born-digital and digitized minutes 2008-2015 and 2020-2022; membership papers, 1955-1976; Overseers' minutes, 1956-1964; marriage certificate, 1956.
