This is a finding aid. Overview and metadata sections
Valley Monthly Meeting was established in 1936 by Philadelphia Quarterly Meeting (Hicksite) out of Radnor Monthly Meeting. In 1955, Valley became a united monthly meeting when it reunited with Philadelphia Yearly Meeting (Orthodox). It was transferred to the newly-formed Haverford Quarterly Meeting that same year. Valley is currently an active monthly meeting.
Records of the Valley Monthly Meeting, 1925-[ongoing], include: minutes, 1936-2018 (2016-2018 are digital); Overseers' minutes, 1940-1954; chart of Valley Friends' Cemetery, 1925; marriage certificate, 1971; papers relating to the Centennial Commemoration of Valley Friends' meeting house, 1971.
