It is a description of archival material held at the Quaker Meeting Records at Haverford College Quaker & Special Collections and Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore College. Overview and metadata sections
A meeting for worship at Alloways Creek was established in 1679 under Salem Monthly Meeting. A preparative meeting was established by 1745. In 1783, these meetings were transferred to Greenwich Monthly Meeting. After the Hicksite Separation of 1827, two preparative meetings emerged.
The Orthodox preparative meeting and meeting for worship were discontinued in 1828 by Salem Quarterly Meeting; the members were transferred to Greenwich Preparative Meeting (Orthodox).
By 1932, the Hicksite preparative meeting and meeting for worship were not held on a regular basis. The meeting for worship was discontinued in 1950; the preparative meeting was discontinued in 1951.
This meeting is often referred to as "Hancock's Bridge".
Records include: Minutes of the pre-Separation and Hicksite men's meeting and later, of joint sessions with women, 1783-1938; minutes of the Hicksite women's meeting, 1841-1877.

Collection Inventory
Minute books of the men's meeting and later, of joint sessions with women as follows: 1.1 1783-1841, 1.2 1841-1900, 1.31900-1938. Entries for joint sessions from 6mo 1877 to 11mo 1884 were recorded in the women's minute book, 1873- 1877.
