Records of Poughkeepsie Preparative Meeting (Orthodox). Includes: minutes (men's & joint), 1829-1902; women's minutes, 1855-1877.

Poughkeepsie Preparative Meeting was established in 1819 as a part of Oswego Monthly Meeting, having been reportedly allowed as a meeting for worship in 1811. Poughkeepsie Preparative Meeting (Hicksite) was laid down in 1913. Poughkeepsie Preparative Meeting (Orthodox) ceased to meet sometime after 1902.

Divided into series: Minutes (men's & joint): 1.1 1829-1848; 1.2 1848-1862; 1.3 1862-1902; women's minutes: 2.1 1855-1868, 2.2 1868-1877.

Joint sessions adopted in 1885.

Transferred from Haviland Records Room by NYYM in 1997.
