Plains Monthly Meeting was reportedly established in 1813, set off from Malborough Monthly Meeting. Plains Monthly Meeting (Orthodox) was laid down in 1854, and members were attached to Milton Executive Meeting (Orthodox)

Includes: men's minutes, 1838-1854; women's minutes, 1814-1851; marriage certificates (abstracts), 1814-1848; Ministers and Elders' minutes, 1830-53.

Divided into series: Minutes (men's & joint): 1.1 1838-1854; Women's minutes: 2.1 1814-1824, 2.2 1824-1851; Vital records: 3.1 Marriage Certificates 1814-1848; Ministers and Elders' Minutes: 4.1 1830-53.
