Middleburg Preparative Meeting was reportedly established 5mo 1810 as a part of Coeymans Monthly Meeting. It became part of Rensselaer Monthly Meeting on its establishment in 1814. The meeting separated in 1828. The Hicksite branch was laid down 5mo 1846 by Rensselaer Monthly Meeting. The meeting for worship was laid down two years later in 3mo 1848.
