Hartland Preparative Meeting was established in 1817 as a part of Farmington Monthly Meeting. It became a part of Hartland Monthly Meeting on its establishment in 1821. The Orthodox branch of the meeting was laid down in 1902.

Records of Hartland Preparative Meeting (Orthodox) and its predecessor, 1817-1902. Includes: Minutes, 1817-1902, and women's minutes, 1856-1879.

Divided into series: Minutes (men's & joint); 1.1 1817-1825, 1.2 1853-1886, 1.3 1885-1902; Women's minutes: 2.1 1856-1879.
