Abstract:
Records of Creek Preparative Meeting (Hicksite) of Clinton, N.Y., and its pre-Separation predecessor, 1797-1895. Includes: men's minutes, 1797-1809 and 1851-1882, and women's minutes, 1820-1895.

Creek Preparative Meeting was reportedly established in Clinton, New York in 1776 as part of Nine Partners Monthly Meeting. It became a part of Creek Monthly on its establishment in 1778. The Hicksite branch was probably laid down in 1895. The last record of the Orthodox branch is from 1892.
