Overview and metadata sections
Plains Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) was reportedly established in 1813, set off from Malborough Monthly Meeting. In 1864 its name was changed to Greenfield and Neversink Monthly Meeting (Hicksite). In 1880 it adopted a joint session and later was recognized as an executive meeting. In 1975 the name was changed to Catskill Monthly Meeting. This meeting remains active.
Records of Catskill Monthly Meeting and its predecessors, Plains Monthly Meeting (Hicksite) and Greenfield and Neversink Executive Meeting, 1828-ongoing. Includes: Minutes (men's & joint), 1847-2002, and Register of marriages and removals, 1828-1863, and membership list. 1999.
