It is a description of archival material held at the Quaker Meeting Records at Haverford College Quaker & Special Collections and Friends Historical Library of Swarthmore College. Overview and metadata sections
North Pacific Yearly Meeting was set off from Pacific Yearly Meeting in 1972, consisting of the monthly meetings which were part of the Willamette and Pacific Northwest (Northwest) Quarterly Meetings. Montana Gathering of Friends affiliated in 1988.
Limited records of North Pacific Yearly Meeting, 1972-present. Also includes minutes of the Elkton Monthly Meeting, an independent CPS meeting which met in 1945 under the care of the American Friends Fellowship Council.
Multnomah Friends Meeting has deposited digitized and born digital records from their history 1952-2020, including their years affiliated with Pacific Yearly Meeting prior to the establishment of North Pacific Yearly Meeting.

The Steering Committee onsists of representatives of each of the monthly meetings and meets about every two months to conduct the business of the Yearly Meeting.
Includes: 1978-79, 1989, 1992 (5), 1993 (5), 1994 (4), 1999, 2000 (4), 2001 (4), 2002 (4), 2003 (3).

Bound volume also includes copies of correspondence and an epistle from Gatlinburg and Big Flats (CPS) Meetings.

These electronic files have been digitized from paper records, and quality varies. The Friends Historical Library does not have the paper records. The link points to both the digitized minutes (1956-1982) as well as the digital minutes (2010-2020) received by the Friends Historical Library.
Most files include the year's minutes, arranged by month. Each month generally includes decisions made on committee recommendations but not necessarily the committee report. Called meetings are also included in the compiled digitized file.
These digitized minutes have been abstracted by the meeting member who compiled the History of Multnomah Monthly Meeting.

Some years include sporadic draft minutes in addition to the approved minutes. 2014's budget spreadsheet is filed with the 2013 minutes. Treasurer's reports are present as separate files sporadically from 2013-2018.
Approved files usually include the attachments (committe reports, budget informat, etc.).
The link points to both the digitized minutes (1956-1982) as well as the digital minutes (2010-2020) received by the Friends Historical Library.

Finance Committee records include general budget information as well as more granular expense documentation and investment information. The folder also includes minutes of the committee and other committees' dealings with Finance.

Oversight Committee minutes include records of clearness and care committees and are restricted until 75 years after date of creation.

This 32-page history covers some months in great detail, and others more summarily. Includes information about meetings under Multnomah's care as well as worship, social concerns, property, and meeting policies throughout its history.
