Friends at Little Elk began meeting at Job Sidwell's house in 1825. The meeting was indulged by Nottingham Monthly Meeting, under the care of East Nottingham Preparative Meeting. A meeting house was constructed in 1826. Little Elk Meeting was laid down in 1884.
