Abstract:

Elk Ridge Preparative Meeting was formed in 1747, under the care of Gunpowder Monthly Meeting. In 1799 the meeting became a part of Baltimore Monthly Meeting. It was discontinued before 1875.

Records of Elk Ridge Preparative Meeting, 1795-1827. Includes men's minutes 1795-1800, vital records 1795-1800, and miscellaneous 1825-27.

Divided into series: 1.Men's Minutes; 2.Vital Records; 3.Miscellaneous.

Vol. 3.1 includes certificates of removal, answers to Queries, and names of representatives appointed to the Monthly Meeting.
