Born in Hungary in 1911; emigrated to Switzerland, and later to Sweden; associated with the Friends' Geneva Centre, the United Nations, the American Friends Service Committee Department of Research and Information in Geneva, the International Peace Bureau, and other peace organizations; member of the Society of Friends.
