New Jewish Agenda (NJA) was founded in 1980; ceased in 1992; it was a progressive multi-issue organization whose members included secular and observant Jews. Headquartered in New York, NY, NJA had some forty-five local chapters and five task forces: Middle East, Economic and Social Justice, Nuclear Disarmament, Central America, and the Feminism (later to include AIDS) task force.

Collection includes, flyers, newsletters, published correspondence; includes folders for the National Office, Connecticut (New Haven), District of Columbia (Washington D.C.), Massachusetts (Boston), Michigan (Ann Arbor), New York (Queens).
