Sponsored by the Council of Christian Associations, the National Student Committee on Disarmament cooperated with the Intercollegiate Disarmament Council. Conferences were conducted regionally on college campuses during 1931 and 1932 promoting students' discussion of disarmament topics, international friendship, and peace. A poll of students on disarmament was conducted with 70 colleges represented, 24,345 students polled. The Committee's offices were based in New York City.
The Swarthmore College Peace Collection is not the official repository for the records of this organization.
