Overview and metadata sections
The National League of Women Voters was the successor to the National American Woman Suffrage Association. It was later called the League of Women Voters of the United States. The material in this collection is from the Department of International Cooperation to Prevent War which had representation on the National Committee on the Cause and Cure of War. Additional records are from other departments of the NLWV as well as from state leagues.
