Inter-Religious Task Force on Central America; IRTF; formed in May 1980 by representatives of several national and local religious organizations; headquartered in New York, New York; seeks to educate and mobilize the community of faith in the United States to support the people of Central America and bring about a more just U.S. policy toward the region.
