Overview and metadata sections

The Indochina Peace Campaign was an independent, short-term project which conducted an educational effort in 1972 prior to the presidential re-election of Richard Nixon. Celebrity support came from Jane Fonda, Tom Hayden, singer Holly Near, and others. In 1975 the campaign ended with the cessation of the Vietnam War; it was reconstructed as Friends of Indochina and Campaign for a Democratic Foreign Policy. The Philadelphia section was known as the Philadelphia Area Indochina Peace Campaign.

The Swarthmore College Peace Collection is not the official repository for the records of this organization.
