Miles, Nelson Appleton, 1839-1925

Nelson A. Miles was a U.S. Army officer who represented the United States at Queen Victoria's Jubliee in 1897.

The collection consists of a scrapbook of memorabilia, including notes, telegrams, official invitations, calling cards, menus, theater programs, and a map, collected by Miles while in England, where he represented the U.S. at Queen Victoria's Jubilee, and in France and Germany, May through September, 1897.
